NOH8 Minneapolis

So today the NOH8 Campaign (Adam Bouska) was in Minneapolis and a friend and I were able to go down to the event and get our photo taken! Talk about a blast! The people working the event and all the others attending were amazing! I came up with a small idea of something to add to my photo to make it personal for myself:) Now we will have to wait the few weeks till I get the image.. But here are some photos from the day I can share with you all now.

To Do list before Transfer:

Just thinking about the things I would like to do before the Transfer....

1. Get my white ass to the tanning bed a few times

2. Get my hair did. Haircut plus color :)

3. Go have a few drinks with the ladies, before they ditch me for the next 9 months

4. Have a sexy date with the hubby, before I get all preggo lookin.

5. Take my kiddos out for a special dinner.

6. Go shopping for some new bed rest pj's

7. Shave (wax) my lady parts ... I'm sure my NY doctor will be thankful ...

I think that will do! So excited :)

Transfer #2 on the way!

Tranfser #2 is underway!

I've been in contact with the NY doctors office and the transfer is scheduled to be early March:) I will get my box of meds in the mail next week, I've already started on the birth control and vitamins. The other fun stuff start Feb 11th. I will have to go back to the lab and do some of the blood work over again and so will Jason.

It is amazing to me on how long you sit and wait and wait.....................then you get a phone call and everything starts going crazy again! I love it!

We do plan on Jason coming with me this time, I've let the nurse know in NY to keep us updated asap so we can make it happen. I'm also very excited to see my IP's again~

This transfer will take! I will be pregnant with a healthy adorable baby.

I do plan on taking photos this time around..I looked back at my first transfer and was surprised that I didn't do so..If you know me it's not like me to not want to capture the special moments on camera. Other than that, I plan on doing everything the same just with less stress.

I will update once the meds start!

Conference call

Growing Generations has conference calls I think monthly and they are for surro's to get together on the phone and just talk about you know...Surrogacy stuff. I hadn't participated in one yet but figured it was about time to check it out, and plus I'm at a slow spot of the journey so thought it might help cheer me up!
So I get on this call and it's me and two other Surro's with the CEO of the company. It actually turned out to be a great call. We had about a 45min talk on about everything from the begin to the end. Some great question were answered and I loved hearing about the other Surro's IP's. I think it might be something I will do each time it is offered. But this next time I might write some questions down before the call, I think my nerves got me and I didn't ask all the questions I had planned.

Otherwise we had a great Christmas with the family and ready for a New Year!

Merry Christmas and Excited for a New Year!

So I had a friend over last night and she was asking me about the surrogacy and if I had any updates, I caught her up on really not much and then we started talking about my blog.
For the past month I've been debating on deleting my blog..I'm not really sure I like writing about my surrogacy and I know it probably has something to do with the fact the surrogacy is moving at a extreme slow pace.
But, do I really need to write about it?
Do I wanna share my experience?
I can say I enjoy reading other surro's blogs and being able to relate or know what to expect is nice.
So as I talked to my girlfriend last night she started quoting things I've written on here and told me how even her mom had noticed I haven't written on here for awhile. So I guess what I'm getting at is that I will keep posting on here and I hope that even just one person takes something from what I write. Even though I'm a shitty writer!
